NRB Cards

NRB can enjoy following card products offered by scheduled Banks.

International Debit Card

This card is issued for only internationally used, tagged with card holder’s FC, account to withdraw money from the recommended foreign ATMs or purchase product and services from the merchants located abroad. For this card NRB requires to maintain FC account with the concerned bank.

Local Debit Card

NRB local Debit Card is issued against NRB Savings/Current Account (local currency account) maintained with the concerned bank and it is valid only in Bangladesh.

International Credit Card

NRB who have FC account with the concerned bank can also enjoy international credit card. This card holder can enjoy flexible credit limit as per their FC account balance (upto 90% of FC account balance). Credit limit is blocked by bank as long as cardholder uses this card& card payment has to be debited from FC account as per Bangladesh Bank rules.

Prepaid Remittance Card

Prepaid remittance card is a local prepaid card valid only in Bangladesh. This card is actually used by beneficiary of remittance provider.

International Prepaid Card

Scheduled banks can issue International prepaid card to NRB who have FC account with the concerned bank. Card limit is loaded from FC account & it is valid only in foreign countries.
